How to Play

1. Click the play area above — Typeshift loads right in your browser, no setup needed.
2. Controls: Slide letter columns up and down to align them into valid words across the row. The game may also show a quick tutorial when you first start.
3. Look at the whole board before making your first move. Rushing usually costs you.
4. If you get stuck, try undoing your last few moves rather than restarting from scratch.
5. Hit the fullscreen button (bottom-right corner) if you want a bigger view.

Tips & Tricks

• Start with common short words — they often use letters that overlap with longer words.
• Every letter must turn green. Focus on unused letters, not on finding the coolest word.
• Vowels are your anchor. Find where they align and build consonants around them.
• Stuck? Try sliding columns randomly. Sometimes seeing new letter combos sparks an idea.
